About Us

Snowline Tree Farm is a small family owned and operated Christmas Tree farm located in the foothills of the Cascades.  The farm first began operation as a tree farm in 1980 by Lee Greif and his family.  In 2001 Lee turned the daily operation of the farm over to his son Travis.  Today Travis' children are learning how to run the farm to hopefully take over and continue the family farm tradition.

We grow Doug Fir, Grand Fir and Noble Fir Christmas Trees.  We do harvest a limited amount of trees that are sold wholesale and shipped to Chico, CA and Tucson, AZ.  Out of the 26 acres in production we will harvest approximately  1,800 trees to be sold wholesale this year.

In addition to trees we also sell fresh handcrafted wreaths (can be customized to your decor), garland, swags and yule logs.  Hot beverages & cookies are available as well as craft project for kids to make and take home  (free of charge).   We have a covered area for you to get out of the weather and enjoy a warm fire and sip your cocoa or explore our gift corner.

We are working on a couple new additions to the farm.  One is a small CSA
(community sustained agriculture) we have openings for 4 families still left for the 2010 season.  Check that page on the site for more information or get a brochure when you come to visit the farm.  The other thing we are working on is creating a NW native nursery.  We love the scenery up here and would love to have our favorite plants available for you to enjoy at home.

Keep checking back on our site and at the farm.  We have lots of plans for the
future to expand the farm and be open more for you to be able to enjoy it at times other than harvest.

It’s a bit longer drive to our farm than the tree farms down in the valley.  But the drive is beautiful and in our opinion the trees grow better in the hills.
